Example Medical, page by page.

A primary care clinic site built for walk-ins, telehealth, sliding-scale pricing, and provider-level search.

Primary care in a working county has a specific job: tell people whether they can be seen today, whether they can afford it, and whether anyone there speaks their language. Everything else is secondary. This walkthrough uses our primary care clinic sample, which is the same build pattern we'd ship for a medical group.

Read the 5 pages in order and you'll see the clinic answer those questions before it ever describes itself.

Walk-ins, telehealth, and sliding-scale visits are stated in the first screen, in that order, because that's the order patients rank them. Access beats credentials here — a clinic that can see you Thursday wins over one with a longer bio page.

Services

Sick visits, physicals, chronic care, pediatrics, women's health, and telehealth are separated with self-pay pricing attached. Separation is what lets the clinic be the answer to "where can I get a sports physical in Hollister" rather than a generic result for "doctor."

Providers

Every provider gets a real profile with specialty, languages, and panel status. Patients search by person constantly — and AI assistants can only recommend a specific provider if that provider exists as an addressable page.

Patients

Insurance accepted, sliding-scale eligibility, what to bring, and how billing works — the page that decides whether an uninsured patient calls or gives up. Written plainly, in the language people actually use about money.

Contact

A short request form with a visit-type selector and a telehealth option, plus phone and clinic hours. It's deliberately narrow: enough to route the patient, never enough to become a medical record in a web form.

Design notes

Why it looks like this, and not like the others.

Typography

Lora headings with Source Sans 3 body — calm and readable.

Palette

Airy, high-legibility surfaces with soft corners and gentle shadow.

Texture and shape

Wide arc motifs behind a split hero, generous vertical rhythm.

Medical sites fail either by looking like an insurance form or by looking like a spa. A serif with warmth plus a very legible sans keeps it trustworthy and human, and the airy rhythm makes dense access information readable on a phone in a parking lot.

Medical FAQ

About the medical example.

Does Example Medical have its own sample site?

This walkthrough tours our primary care clinic sample, which is the same build pattern a medical group would get. If you want a distinct specialty build — imaging, urgent care, behavioral health — we scope that directly.

Can a medical site collect patient information safely?

A public web form should route a request, not carry clinical detail. Anything with protected health information belongs behind an authenticated Smart Site flow or inside your EHR.

Why publish self-pay prices?

Because uninsured and high-deductible patients are searching on cost, and a clinic that answers plainly gets the call. It also makes the clinic quotable by AI assistants answering affordability questions.

Do provider profiles need to be separate pages?

Yes if you want to appear for name and specialty searches. A combined staff page can't carry specialty, language, and panel status distinctly enough to be cited.

Can this integrate with our EHR or patient portal?

That's a Smart Site engagement. We link out cleanly to an existing portal on Custom builds, which covers most clinics.

How do you handle bilingual patients?

Real translated content with correct language markup, and languages listed per provider so a Spanish-speaking patient can pick a person rather than gamble.

What tier does a clinic usually need?

Custom Site covers a single-location clinic well. Multi-location groups, live scheduling, or automated intake push it to Smart Site.
