Why is there an 'own' price and a 'lease-to-own' price?
Some owners prefer to pay once and control the asset immediately. Others prefer a low down payment and a predictable monthly, with hosting, updates, and support handled for them; on that path we own and maintain the build while you pay it off, and at month 36 it's yours. Both deliver the same SEO, AEO, and GEO foundation, and you can pay a lease off early at any point.
Why is the price 'starting at'?
Every Hollister business has different needs — pages, integrations, content depth, custom features. Starting prices reflect a well-scoped project at each tier; final pricing depends on scope and complexity, which we confirm before any work starts.
What's not included in the starting price?
Domain registration, third-party subscriptions (email marketing, booking tools), professional photography, and ad spend. Smart Sites also carry a required $297/mo tech stack subscription for the databases, AI, and integrations that run them. We're transparent about every add-on before you commit.
Do I pay monthly if I own my site?
Not on a Simple or Custom Site — hosting is your call and we hand off the finished build. Smart Sites require a $297/mo tech stack subscription regardless of path, because the databases, AI answering, and integrations run on paid infrastructure. Many owners also choose an optional care plan for SEO monitoring and content updates.
How does lease-to-own work?
You put a down payment on the tier you pick, then make 36 monthly payments — $100 for a Simple Site, $200 for a Custom Site, $500 for a Smart Site. Hosting, updates, support, and small edits are included the whole time. At payment 36 the site is paid off and the source code is yours. Pay it off early and we credit everything you've already paid toward the balance.
Are there any long-term contracts?
A lease-to-own plan runs 36 months by design — that's the payoff schedule — and you can settle it early or cancel with 30 days' notice, in which case you keep your domain and content but not the code. Own-it projects have a simple project agreement with milestone payments. No lock-in tricks — that's not how you build long-term Hollister client relationships.
What payment methods do you accept?
ACH, credit card, and check. Larger projects can be split into milestone payments (typically deposit, mid-build, and launch), so cash flow is predictable.
