About the shop

Film is only as good as the person installing it.

Same owner on the squeegee for nine years, an enclosed bay so wind never touches a job, and honest answers about what's legal on your front doors.

Why we do buildings too

The same physics, a much bigger room.

Automotive work pays the bills, but architectural film is where most San Benito County homes have an unsolved problem: an afternoon room nobody sits in.

We measure on site, check your window manufacturer's restrictions before quoting, and register the warranty in your name rather than the shop's.

285 Airline Highway, Hollister, CA 95023 · Licensed and insured · Manufacturer-certified installer (sample)

In the bay crew

Three people, one bay.

Nate Ibarra

Owner & lead installer

Nine years behind the squeegee, manufacturer-certified on both automotive and architectural film.

Vanessa Cruz

Architectural film specialist

Handles home and storefront measurements, energy estimates, and every after-hours commercial install.

Owen Park

Removal & prep

Strips old film and adhesive without gouging glass or cutting defroster lines. Unglamorous and essential.

In the install bay

The same four steps on every job.

1. Quote in writing

Tell us the vehicle or the window count and we send a firm number the same day — film type, shade, and total, with no add-ons at pickup.

2. Pick the shade legally

We walk you through California's VLT limits so you don't buy a ticket. Front doors, windshield strip, and rear glass all have different rules.

3. Install in a clean bay

Film is plotter-cut to your exact glass, installed in an enclosed bay so dust and wind stay out of the job.

4. Cure and warranty

Leave the windows up for three days while it cures. Your lifetime warranty is registered before you drive off, in your name.

Customers

Nine years of local work.

Our west-facing room was unusable after three. Now we actually sit in it. Should have done it years ago.

Bay questions

Licensing, coverage, and warranty claims.

Is your shop licensed and insured for work in San Benito County?

Yes, we are fully licensed and insured, holding manufacturer certifications for both our automotive and architectural lines. We include these credentials on every quote we provide to our Hollister and San Juan Bautista clients for total peace of mind.

Where is the shop?

285 Airline Highway in Hollister, with an enclosed bay so vehicles are never filmed outdoors. Home and commercial work happens on site anywhere in San Benito County.

Do you install film outside Hollister?

Yes — San Juan Bautista, Tres Pinos, Aromas, and Paicines are all in the regular route, and we take vehicles from further out that come to the shop.

How long has the shop been tinting windows in San Benito County?

Nine years in San Benito County, with the same owner doing installs. That matters in this trade, because film quality is mostly the installer.

What happens if the film fails?

You bring it back and we redo it. The lifetime warranty covers bubbling, peeling, cracking, and color change for as long as you own the vehicle or the property.

Do you offer payment plans for larger residential or commercial projects?

For larger projects in the Hollister area, we can split the cost into a deposit and a final balance due upon completion. For automotive work, payment is required at the time of pickup via card or electronic transfer.

Do you hire and train new tint installers in the Hollister area?

We occasionally have openings and focus on training from the ground up. While many can learn to squeegee film, we believe the true craft lies in the precision of glass preparation and old film removal.
