How the CSA works

Four steps, then produce shows up every week.

Small share for one or two people, family share for a household that cooks most nights. Switch sizes any month.

Choose a pickup day

Thursday afternoon or Saturday morning at the stand. Same box either way — Saturday just gets picked a day later.

Swap what you don't want

There's a swap crate at pickup. Trade anything for something else on the table. No forms, no questions.

Pause when you travel

Tell us by Sunday and that week's credit moves to the end of your season. Up to four weeks.

Wholesale

Buying for a kitchen or a school?

We deliver to restaurants, school cafeterias, grocers, and farm box programs across Hollister, San Juan Bautista, Tres Pinos, Aromas, and Paicines. One case minimum on a standing weekly order, priced by the case with no distributor markup.

Tell us in winter what you want on the menu in July and we'll plant for it. Several Hollister kitchens write their summer menus with us in February — that's the part a produce truck from out of the valley can't do.

Ready to start

Reserve a share or open a wholesale account.

Tell us what you need and how often. We'll confirm availability and a pickup or delivery day.

Offerings FAQ

CSA, wholesale, and u-pick questions.

What is the cost of a weekly CSA share in Hollister?

Shares start at $32 per week for a small box designed for 1 or 2 people, and $48 for a family-sized share. Residents pay by the month, and any paused weeks result in a credit that rolls forward so you never lose your investment.

What is the duration of the San Benito County CSA season?

The season runs from June through October, lasting approximately 20 weeks. Sign-ups open in March and shares typically fill by mid-May, so we recommend residents in Aromas and Hollister join early to secure a specific pickup day.

What if I don't like something in my box?

There's a swap crate at pickup. Trade anything you don't want for something else on the table that week — no questions, no forms.

Can I pause my produce delivery if I'm leaving San Benito County for vacation?

Yes, you can pause up to 4 weeks per season. Simply notify us by Sunday and that week's credit will be applied to the end of your share, ensuring you get your full value of fresh local vegetables.

What are the requirements for local wholesale orders?

We require a minimum of 1 case per delivery with a standing weekly order. We provide case-based pricing and set a delivery schedule for businesses along Highway 25 and San Benito Street that matches your kitchen's prep days.

Can restaurants request specific varieties?

Yes. If you tell us in winter what you want on the menu in July, we'll plant for it. Several Hollister kitchens plan their summer menus with us in February.

How do I book a farm tour or u-pick session near Highway 25?

Please submit a request through our contact page with your group size. U-pick is available during strawberry and tomato peaks, while educational tours of our Paicines-area acreage run year-round by appointment for local schools and groups.
